Oz Paker, MFA
Oz Paker is a designer and an artist working on interdisciplinary platforms ranging from multimedia to interior design, and from 2-D to 3-D. A 1995 graduate of New York’s Parsons School of Design, Paker first worked at design and architecture firms in New York City. In 2001, she completed her MFA (Master in Fine Arts) degree in Design & Technology also at Parsons while working as a faculty member in the Product and Communication Design departments. In 2002, she started her own business with a passion for design and contemporary art.
As a harmony enthusiast, she quickly realized that she was creating welcoming and inspiring interiors that naturally incorporated the Feng Shui principles. Her intuitive sense of energy flow and ergonomics drove her deeper into studying Feng Shui, and made her committed to a minimalist approach to her warm and serene interiors. Known also for her conceptual mixed media artworks, she is highly notable for her Zen aesthetic, keen eye for comfortable elegance, and attention to detail in spatial design.
Paker also designs furniture, textiles and home accessories that are in sync with her sophisticated design sense. Many of her projects utilize her custom furniture and accessories, and she also provides art advisory services to incorporate existing, new or custom artworks that will complete the spaces of her clients.
First located in New York and Istanbul, Paker moved to Manhattan Beach - Los Angeles with her family in 2016, thus relocating her company.
